Meeting 9/26/08 Recap
Hey Everyone,
Just in case you couldn’t make it to our second meeting, read below to find out what happened.
1. We will be doing Eid Secret Buddies this year!
Everyone that wanted to join placed their name in a box and each member then picked one slip out. Please give your secret buddy a gift on Friday, October 3rd, by dropping it in their first period class. If you don’t know the teacher, try asking around. This usually works very well.
2. We brainstormed some ideas about funding.
As it is, we are broke for this year and need to fundraise. Some ideas were taken and put on a list; these may happen later on this year.
Please come to our next meeting, which will be held next Friday, October 3rd.

Meeting Update 9/19/08
Hey Everyone! If you could not attend today’s meeting, which was the first one, then please read below:
- Today we had a great crowd of almost more new members than old members, so if everything goes well then next year the MSA should have an easy time starting up.
-Announcements: There is an Inter-MSA Ramadan Iftar on Monday, September 22, from 6pm-9pm at the Casey Community Center. The address for the center is

The cost of attending will be $15.00 at the door, per person. This is a great place to get to know other Muslims from the local MSAs; other MSA members from Quince Orchard and nearby high schools should also be attending.
